The idea of forming an Egyptian Scientific Association for evaluation began in 2005, during the conference of the African Association for evaluation in Cairo.
Due to various circumstances, the association was formed and announced only in 2014. There are 12 founding members.
Its activity during this period was limited to some meetings and activities carried out by some of the society's works as residents and members of the society.
the actual activity of the association began after the readjustment of its status according to law no.in 2023, however, during this period the association performed the following activities :
- active participation of the association’s members in the activities of the Arab Evaluation Network and attending its annual conferences by delivering studies on evaluation in Egypt and the Arab world.orld.
- contacting local and international partners to develop programs for academic and Professional Studies in Arabic.< / span>< / li>
- in this context, the Association collaborated with the National Planning Institute in the preparation of a professional master’s program on follow-up and evaluation.ation. The curricula were approved by the Supreme Council of universities. The study started in the second semester 2024.

- cooperation with the National Planning Institute (Cairo) and ENAP (Canada) and the United Nations Development Program, and held a training course on evaluation in Arabic in November 2024, conducted by Arab trainers from ENAP, attended by 24 trainees from the Ministry of planning and economic development – National Planning Institute – Ministry of international cooperation – National Research Center … And others.
